This round-pen design seamlessly integrates with nature, meticulously considering the unique needs of horses. Wood, a natural and sustainable material, brings numerous benefits to equine architecture, creating a warm and organic ambiance that alleviates stress for horses. Its inherent durability provides a stable structure capable of withstanding the rigors of equestrian activities. To address light control and overheating concerns, we integrated strategically placed wooden shutters in the round pen, offering adjustable light levels and optimal ventilation. This feature regulates natural light, preventing excessive glare that can disrupt horses' performance and cause discomfort. The shutters also play a crucial role in averting interior overheating during hot months, safeguarding the well-being of the horses. Carefully integrated into the overall architecture, these wooden shutters harmonize functionality and aesthetics, enhancing the visual appeal of the round pen for both horses and riders. Our design prioritizes training comfort and safety, featuring inner walls with a sloping angle band to prevent potential rubbing or discomfort when the horse or rider contacts the board.
