Our commitment to make a great project extended beyond the exterior design, as we also poured our passion and attention to detail into crafting the interiors of our projects. In the Sylt project, we aspired to create an interior atmosphere that reflected a refreshing, surf-inspired style while maintaining the essence of sustainability and affordability.

To achieve this, we thoughtfully selected materials and finishes that evoked the relaxed, coastal vibe synonymous with the Sylt region, while ensuring that they were eco-friendly and responsibly sourced. By working closely with local artisans, we incorporated handcrafted elements and bespoke details that celebrated the region's unique character and added a personal touch to each space.

Furthermore, we prioritized smart design solutions and space planning that maximized functionality and comfort without compromising on aesthetics. We integrated energy-efficient lighting, appliances, and fixtures to create a truly sustainable and cost-effective living experience.

By blending the surf-inspired style with a conscientious approach to design, we envisioned an inviting and stylish interior that was both environmentally responsible and chilled. This harmonious fusion of elements resulted in a living space that embodied the essence of the Sylt region, offering a comfortable sanctuary that captured the spirit of its surroundings for surfers to enjoy.

Kitchen

In designing the interior of the kitchen, we focused on creating a welcoming, communal space that fosters communication and human interaction among guests. Our approach to the kitchen layout and design was centered around functionality, ease of use, and adaptability, allowing multiple people to cook, share, and enjoy their culinary experiences simultaneously.

We carefully planned the kitchen's layout to include spacious countertops, ample storage, and a generous number of appliances and cooking stations, ensuring that guests can comfortably work side-by-side without feeling cramped.

Thoughtful touches, like easily accessible utensils and cookware, further enhanced the user-friendly experience, reinforcing our goal to create a kitchen that unites people through the universal language of food.

Ultimately, our design of this kitchen successfully merged practicality with a sense of community, fostering an environment where guests could not only nourish their bodies but also forge lasting connections and memories with fellow travelers.

Dinning area

Our primary goal was to create an inviting space that nurtures socialization and fosters a sense of belonging among guests while eating or drinking. We carefully selected materials and furnishings that exuded warmth and coziness while reflecting the unique individuality of each visitor.

To further enhance this feeling, we opted for an eclectic mix of recycled chairs, each with its own distinct character and charm, symbolizing the diverse personalities and backgrounds of our guests. This thoughtful design decision encouraged conversation and connection, as the unique chairs served as a conversation starter, sparking curiosity and interest among diners.

The open layout of the space allowed for easy movement and interaction, promoting a sense of community and camaraderie among travelers.

Through our deliberate design choices, the dining area became a vibrant, welcoming hub of socialization, where guests could come together and forge meaningful connections over delicious meals.

Reading area

In crafting the interior design of the reading area, we sought to create a serene oasis that invites moments of peace and quiet, while maintaining the surf-inspired style that characterizes the hotel/hostel. Our aim was to provide a space where guests could comfortably indulge in their favorite pastimes, be it reading a book, listening to a podcast, sketching, or simply unwinding with a glass of wine.

To achieve this, we selected a warm and cozy color palette that evokes the coastal surf culture, infusing the space with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Soft, natural textures and materials, such as plush cushions, woven rugs, and driftwood accents, enhance the sense of comfort and reinforce the surf-inspired theme.

We carefully arranged the seating to create intimate nooks and crannies where guests can retreat and enjoy their solitude.

Subtle touches, such as artwork featuring serene seascapes and surf-inspired elements, remind guests of the laid-back, coastal vibe that permeates the space.

Thoughtful lighting, including floor lamps and pendant lights, provides a gentle glow that complements the soothing ambiance, perfect for enjoying a moment of tranquility with a book or a glass of wine.
